LeRon Shults, Ph.D., Ph.D. is professor at the Institute for Religion, Philosophy, and History at the University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway. He has published 17 books and 80 scientific articles and book chapters. Shults was trained in the traditional methods of philosophy of religion and educational psychology but became interested in computer modeling and simulation several years ago. Since then, he has focused much of his research on the use of these methodological techniques in the scientific study of human minds and cultures. Shults is currently co-editing a book on Human Simulation, which will be published by Springer.
