In the Spring of 2016, Agderforskning set in motion a project supporting local integration work. This project is financed by the Regional Research Fund for Agder, The Lindesnes Regional Advisory Council The University of Agder’s Center for Gender and Equality. Lindesnes County is the key collaborating partner in the project. Hanne Sortevik Haaland, associate professor Hege B. Wallevik and Maja P. Frykman, professor of ethnology at Malmö University, are the primary researchers participating in the project.
This project will study and contribute to the further development of integration of refugees into the local workplace and community life in Lindesness County. The larger goal is that this integration of economic and family migrants will be replicable in other counties and regions.
The project will be carried out over the course of 2016. For questions concerning the project, contact the project manager May-Linda Magnussen at Agderforskning (+47 48010547).
Agderforskning is extremely interested in setting-up and participating in additional research, development and implementation projects in the field of local integration, and welcomes questions and contact concerning these issues.
